Episode 3: Dedicated To Mr. Magic! RIP!

This is an episode we felt was very necessary, albeit a bit sad. We decided to put indy week on hold, and dedicate this episode to the late, great John "Mr. Magic" Rivas, without whom this show, and every other hip-hop mix show would not exist. Mr. Magic's Rap Attack was the first hip-hop radio mixshow, and through this outlet, Mr. Magic gave alot of artists their start, from Run-DMC to Whodini to the Juice Crew (whom Mr. Magic pka Sir Juice founded w/ Marley Marl, the Rap Attack's DJ). If it hadnt been for him, there's no telling where this culture we love so much would be. We may not have personally known Mr. Magic, but we felt it necessary to to dedicate this show to him. So we will be playing music from artists Mr. Magic helped to break, as well as music from other artists he frequently played during the Rap Attack. Thanks for listening, and Enjoy! (Hosted by Haywood & Wes) (TRACKLIST AVAILABLE AT WWW.315MEDIAGROUP.BLOGSPOT.COM)

Next Weeks Episode Topic: Indy Week (Music from the best independent and unsigned hip-hop artists). If you are an independent or unsigned artist, or know someone with dope music who is, please send ur music/requests/suggestions to: thenumbrspot@gmail.com, send us a tweet at www.twitter.com/thenumbrspot, or discuss with us at the forum @ www.thenumbrspot.webs.com.

Episode 2: Greatest Posse Tracks/ Show Stealing Guest Verses (pt. 1)

Episode 2 of Numbr Spot Radio, Hosted by Haywood, Wes, and guest Ry L (freshaudacity.wordpress.com). This weeks topic is a favorite of ours! Great group/posse/crew songs (pt.1)& show stealing guest appearances (pt.2). Great songs featuring 4 or more emcee's (in most cases), and more great songs featuring a guest emcee stealing the show from their gracious hosts! Gotta love it! There are too many classic songs that fit this theme! So many in fact, that we split this weeks episode into two separate parts. Hope ya'll enjoy the show as much as we enjoyed putting it together!

Next weeks show theme: Indie/unsigned artists! (If you are interested, send any music for consideration to thenumbrspot@gmail.com.)
